The 2019 Taylor Summer Festival presented by BJ’s Wholesale Club is right around the corner, and we are proud to announce that the festival will be held from Thursday, June 27, through Sunday, June 30, with the Taylor Summer Festival Fireworks display scheduled for approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 (if weather is a problem, the fireworks would be held at the same time on Sunday, June 30).

VIP TICKETS are $35. The VIP package, known as the "Best Ticket Downriver," offers prime seating, dinner (by Whiskey’s on the Water) and a free drink.

General Admission Tickets: In advance / At the door. Standing room only.

Doors open at 5 p.m.

Dinner from 6 to 7 p.m.

GLOW RUN

2019 Community Choice Credit Union 5K Glow Run

9:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, Heritage Park

An exciting new feature of this year’s festival will be Community Choice Credit Union 5K Glow Run, scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, June 28.

Packet pickup is 7:30 p.m. in Pavilion A.

All participants will receive a T-Shirt, beer or Faygo at the finish line and special "Glow" items. Finishers will receive a custom medal.

Entry fee is $30 through May 31; $35 from June 1 to June 28; and $40 on race day. Call (734) 374-8900 Option 3 for more information.

Community Choice Credit Union Gone Fishin’

10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 29, Coan Lake Area, Heritage Park

"Gone Fishin" event at Coan Lake on Saturday June 29. Get registered for a spot at Coan Lake for a morning of fishing fun.

Event details --

  • This event is focused around families and kids.
  • Free fishing at Coan Lake.
  • This is a catch and release fishing event
  • Bring your own poles or if you don’t have one. We will provide a pole, tackle and bait to use at the event.
  • This is not a tournament, just a morning of fishing fun and fishing education.
  • There will be professionals on-site to answer first time fishing questions and to assist with teaching any kids on-site to fish if needed.
  • Everyone will get a goodie bag with educational fishing and water safety instructions (If we are able to secure again this year).
  • Snacks for the kids and various games on-site to play for prizes.

Ticket Information

Tickets for the June 28 and 29 concerts come in two versions: Limited-seating VIP passes that include food, a drink ticket and a preferred up-front location and general admission standing room. Carnival admission is at cost on-site. Saturday fireworks admission is free, but parking is at cost.

Parking

There is plenty of parking available for reasonable costs both inside and outside Heritage Park. Parking is usually $10.
