City Clerk Cindy Bower announced today that her office will be offering extended hours as it prepares for the November presidential election.
The Clerk's Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays October 4, 11 and 18. October 11 is the final day to register to vote in the election. October 18 will focus on absentee ballot requests only. Regular hours for the clerk's office are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.Clerk Bower is promoting the use of the absentee ballot process in this election in an effort to ease what should be long lines at the polling places for the November 8 Presidential Election.
