BJ's will be creating its top-tier "elevation" in Taylor. The only other one like it is in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mayor Rick Sollars points out that this is another of ongoing improvements in the Eureka Way! business and entertainment corridor, known as one of the hottest development centers in Michigan. Southland Center has put millions of dollars in improvements and has added a cast of new retailers and eateries, along with Cinemark, the high-tech movie theater that now sits in the old Mervyn's location. Menards is scheduled to being building on the old Gibraltar Trade Center property in the spring, and La-Z-Boy is building a new retail location directly across Eureka.
Those businesses join others like Primanti Bros, Golden Corral, PizzaPapalis, Skyzone, Panera and O'Samurai that have recently located in the corridor, which runs from Telegraph to Allen roads.
