The Taylor Police contingent will again ride in honor of the memories of Cpl. Matthew Edwards and Taylor Auxiliary Lt. Dan Kromer. In fact, for the first time, Edwards' son Luke will ride in the event. It costs over $2,000 each to ride in the event, so fund-raising is important. The Taylor Unity Tour group will hold a major fund-raiser at 6 p.m. March 24 at Mallie's Sports Bar & Grille, located on Northline Road, just east of Allen, in Southgate. There is a $20 cover charge.
