  1. 12th Annual Par for the Course to benefit Fish & Loaves

    September 19, 2020, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Taylor Meadows Golf Course

    The 12th Annual Fish & Loaves Golf Outing will take place at the Taylor Meadows Golf Club. The four-person scramble will take place on Saturday, September 19 at 9 a.m. This is one of the major fundraisers of the year for the Downriver Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry. By participating, you can help those who are food insecure. Please join for a day of fun and laughter. Be a hero to those in our community who are hungry and have been hit hard by Covid-19. Registration is $100 per player or $400 per foursome. The day includes: 8 a.m. registration Light breakfast 18 holes with a cart 9 a.m. shotgun start Boxed lunch at turn Raffles Appreciation gift and dinner coupon Several games on course with prizes Registration is $100 per person

  3. Cleanup Day at Northwest Park

    September 20, 2020, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Northwest Park

    Northwest Park is having a Cleanup Day from 10-noon on Sunday, September 20. Organizers are asking volunteers interested in keep their neighborhood park clean to participate by showing up ready to work – and please bring your own facemask and gloves, if possible. This event, created by Sabrina Wisbiski, is also participating in the Keep America Beautiful TRASHDASH Plogging for our Planet worldwide effort that same day. Keep America Beautiful is the nation’s leading community improvement nonprofit organization and inspires and educates people to take action daily to improve their own community. Bags and gloves will be provided, but please bring your own if you have them. Buckets, trash grabbers, water bottles, sunscreen, and/or rain jacket are also recommended. Please don’t forget to bring a mask and practice social distancing. Lunch will be provided for volunteers at noon.
