  1. Conversation on Religious Diversity

    Our area has a rich religious history, which will be spotlighted during a "Conversation on Religious Diversity," a forum Wayne County Commissioner Ray Basham will be holding Tuesday, September 19, at the Brownstown Event Center, 23451 King Road in Brownstown Township. This event will feature a panel discussion with area religious leaders on the diversity of faith throughout the Downriver area as well as an exploration of what your faith means to you. Faith is so important to so many people and, while we may be of different faiths, mutual understanding and respect is important to keeping our communities thriving, especially in the times we live in. The "Conversation on Religious Diversity" is free and open to all. Residents of Brownstown Township, Flat Rock, Rockwood, Taylor and Woodhaven are especially invited to participate.
